Services:

Individual Psychotherapy and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy

I provide individualized psychodynamic therapy and psychoanalytic work for adults and adolescents. This approach helps you better understand your experiences and core patterns, reduce distressing symptoms, and experience greater emotional clarity and ease. I offer weekly psychotherapy sessions that are collaborative and reflective, with a focus on understanding core emotional and relational patterns, clarifying identity, and supporting meaningful change. Together, we explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to improve your mood and overall well-being.

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy may be recommended for more longstanding or entrenched difficulties or for those interested in a more intensive, in-depth process. In this approach, we typically meet twice per week, with the option for more frequent sessions when clinically appropriate. This allows for a deeper exploration of unconscious conflicts/motivations and past experiences within a consistent therapeutic relationship. My work is informed by psychoanalytic and relational theory, which emphasize depth, complexity, and the potential for meaningful psychological and relational change over time.

Couples Therapy

Couples may seek therapy for a variety of reasons, often feeling “stuck” in their partnership. This can include ongoing conflicts, unhelpful communication patterns, breaches of trust, or emotional changes that are difficult to understand. I help couples explore the underlying obstacles that prevent greater empathy and understanding, with the goal of restoring more effective communication and rediscovering a sense of shared meaning and connection.

Clinical Supervision:

I provide clinical supervision to new and early-career mental health professionals, social workers, and clinicians in areas including substance use recovery, mood disorders, and related clinical challenges. My approach is collaborative, aiming to strengthen your clinical skills, deepen your understanding of clients, and support your growth as a therapist. Supervision is available as a one-time consultation or through ongoing weekly or monthly meetings, tailored to your learning goals.
