People come to therapy for many reasons—struggling with anxiety or self-doubt, navigating relationship challenges, substance use or recovery, or facing life transitions that feel difficult to face alone. You may feel stuck or worn down by patterns in your emotions, relationships, or sense of direction. I provide in-person psychodynamic psychotherapy in Greenpoint, Brooklyn for adults, teens, and couples.

In our work together, you will begin to notice thoughts, feelings, and patterns that were just beneath awareness—bringing clarity and new possibilities for feeling, thinking, and being. Guided by genuine curiosity and a keen listening presence, I provide a collaborative environment to explore and make sense of your inner experience. With time, therapy can open the door to deeper understanding and lasting relief, helping you create meaningful change and more connected relationships.

My approach is psychodynamic and integrative, meaning we will explore your unique story to uncover the roots of past and present challenges. Because each person’s experiences and goals vary, my style remains flexible and responsive to your specific needs, struggles, and aspirations. Together, we will focus on what feels most present and meaningful to you.

I also have experience and specialized training in supporting individuals in early and long-term recovery from substance use and other addictions, providing an atmosphere to understand the underlying factors that shape these experiences and cultivate a broader perspective.

I welcome and feel fortunate to work with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds. Together, we will access your experiences from a variety of perspectives—ranging from the present to the unconscious, and from the familial to the historical. In the process of truly understanding yourself, experiences that once felt out of reach can become real possibilities.

At the heart of this work is the relationship we build together. I aim to create an environment where you can speak and explore freely, bringing in whatever feels most present or pressing. If you’re interested in working together, I invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation. If we’re not the right fit, I’m happy to offer referrals to support your search.
